The tour schedule is flexible. If you don't like the idea of a city tour, can visit the Drak Yerpa in the suburb instead. Songtsan Gampo, the 33rd king of the Yarlung Dynasty, built Drak-Yerpa for his wife in the middle of the 7th century. There were 108 caves at Drak Yerpa in the past but now only a dozen of them remain well. This site is very peaceful providing stunning views. To go hiking where the Guru Rinpoche in the late 8th century ever walked is inspiring.
