From the political center of Beijing to the spiritual center of Lhasa, you will take the Qinghai-Tibet train at Xining Railway Station to arrive. From Lhasa, we travel to Gyantse and Shigatse by vehicle, then traverse the world’s highest mountain range Himalayas to the highest peak in the world – Mt. Everest. This trip will definitely leave an indelible mark on your heart and soul, and create memories lasting a lifetime.
Along the trip, you’ll explore deeply the heart of Tibetan Buddhism, its people, culture, and spectacular scenery. Since the Nepal Earthquake, the Zhangmu Port has been closed and the only opened Gyirong Port is available at the Tibet-Nepal border. It’s about 90km from Kathmandu and 360km from Mount Everest Tibet side. With the port, you can travel from Kathmandu to Lhasa, or from Lhasa to Kathmandu by land.
