After the acclimatization in Lhasa, we first drove via Gyantse to Shigatse. We’ll cross over the Kampala pass at 4,790m, and visit the holy lake Yamdrok Yumtso at 4,400m surrounded by snow mountains. Walking along the lake, we’ll view the spectacular holy mountain Nyenchen Khangsar at 7,191m.

We will pass through Tso La Pass at 4,600m, Gyatso La Pass at 5,248m, and Gawu La Pass at 5,198m which is the entry gate of Everest National Nature Reserve where there’s a Sightseeing Platform for us to appreciate the Panoramic View of the Himalayas.

The zigzag mountain road ahead to conquer will lead us to Mt. Everest Base Camp at 5,200m. Depending on the weather and time, we’ll stay overnight in Rongbuk Guesthouse or Tent Guesthouse at EBC. Take photos of the sunset and sunrise of the Golden Everest peak if the weather allows.

Join this group, you’ll see main cultural sites like Potala Palace, and Jokhang Temple, and natural sceneries like the holy lake Yamdrok, glacier Karola, and the Top of the world – Mt. Everest.
