This tour is a great chance for you to explore Tibetan religious sects and different architectural styles. Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Yarlung Tsangpo, Yumbulagang Palace, Tradruk Temple, and Samye Monastery can meet all of them in 6 days.
Your journey takes you to the enchanting Yarlung Tsangpo River, one of Tibet’s lifelines. It is the upper course of the Brahmaputra River and flows through both China and India, often considered the highest river in the world due to its high-altitude source. As you stand on its banks, you’ll sense the spiritual significance this river holds in Tibetan culture.
Yumbulagang Palace, an ancient palace located on a hill, is a prominent historical site in Tsetang. It’s associated with the first Tibetan kings and offers stunning views of the Yarlung Valley. Samye monastery has a very high position in Tibetan monastery history because it was the first Tibetan Buddhist monastery and the first monastery to have monks. The main hall mixed 3 different architectural styles – traditional Chinese, Tibetan, and Indian.
It’s a good chance to enjoy the combination of culture and nature. So it is worth trying to join our Lhoka group.
