Ashort hiking from Pabonka to Sera combined with a city tour not only offers you a chance to visit the famous Potala Palace and Tibetan monasteries but the outskirts area by foot to explore the Buddhist hermitages on hills.
The hike distance between Pabonka and Sera Monastery is approximately 10-12 kilometers usually takes around 4-6 hours, depending on your pace, and stops along the way. The trail meanders through beautiful landscapes, including lush valleys, barren hills, and traditional Tibetan villages. Along the way, you’ll pass by fields, and small streams, and encounter yaks and local farmers. Suitable for you to have an off-the-beaten tour in Lhasa but planned travel time constraints.
