Attracting thousands of photographers to take photos every year, Qinghai Lake was selected as the Most Beautiful Lake in China by National Geographic Magazine. It is surrounded by harsh mountain ranges from the outside. On the foot of the mountains are endless beautiful grassland and rapeseed flower lands which are connected to the lakeside.
Besides Qinghai Lake, you can enjoy the famous scenic view on the Qinghai-Tibet train to Tibet, a purely spiritual realm of Buddhism. The tour in Tibet will take you to popular destinations Gyantse and Shigatse, passing by the beautiful Yamdrok Lake and Karo La Glacier. Finally, we would arrive at Rongbuk. You can rest for a while, then go to visit the world’s highest monastery which is only 20km from the peak of Mt. Everest, where you’ll get a great chance to appreciate the giant pyramid of Everest from the south and the charming banner clouds in sunny days.
