Every year from April to October is a good season to do the trekking tour from Old Tingri to Mt. Everest Base Camp. If you are afraid of the cold weather, summertime from June to September is recommended. Trekking at an altitude ranging from 4,300 meters to 5,200 meters needs to be accomplished within four days.

Anyway, you don’t need to worry too much about the high altitude of the Mt. Everest area in the Himalayan region. Although the elevation is much higher, it’s not as difficult to complete the trekking as imagined. The hiking trail is along the main road from Old Tingri to Everest, which is well-paved and flat, so you even don’t need to hire yaks and yak men or porters, the vehicle transfer you from Lhasa to Old Tingri will follow you, and carry your luggage and food.

This trekking route distinguishes itself from other tours by providing a sense of desolation, endangered species like snow leopards, physically & mentally challenging, and exploring valleys, glaciers, and most magnificent views of the highest mountain – Everest.

It offers an unparalleled opportunity to connect with the Himalayas on a profound level, immersing yourself in the majesty of the world’s highest peaks and the enduring spirit of the region’s people.
